Welcome To Conservative Way Forward

About Us

Conservative Way Forward was founded in 1991 to defend and build upon the achievements of the Conservative Party under the leadership of our Honorary President Lady Thatcher, and to adapt the principles of her era in government to modern concerns and challenges.

Over two decades later, we have set out to make the case afresh for more effective, more efficient and less intrusive government by promoting our Nine Principles and their practical implementation in government.

We are a diverse nationwide organisation, encompassing older and younger members alike and catering for the political views of both. Our leader - and now Prime Minister - David Cameron has described us as "the largest and most effective pressure group within the Conservative movement today".

You will find CWF is a growing, vibrant and relevant organisation. We look forward to you joining us and becoming an active member.
