Forward Magazine

Forward magazine is our flagship publication, packed with political commentary, insight and reflection on politics past, present and future.

First published in 1992, it was originally edited by the late Sir George Gardiner, Conservative MP for Reigate from 1974 to 1997. Throughout the 1992-1997 Conservative Government, Forward made the intellectual case for the continuation of Thatcherite policies.

After a hiatus following George's retirement from Parliament in 1997, FastForward was launched in 2001 as a quarterly newsletter, updating members on the Conservative Party and the activities of Conservative Way Forward.

Forward was re-launched in 2006 as a glossy magazine with a readership in excess of 5,000. It is sent to all Associate Members as well as to all Conservative MPs, MEPs, Welsh Assembly Members and Members of the Scottish Parliament.
